Wednesday, 8 July, was an evening of celebration at the new Auckland Masonic Centre at 181 Khyber Pass when Brother Jack Topps of The Ara Taimau Lodge No. 1 was presented with a 10-year bar to adorn his 50-year service badge and ribbon. The presentation was made by R.W. Bro. Jack Christie, Past Deputy Grand Master, himself a member of the exclusive 60-year badge fraternity. Both Bro. Topps and R.W. Bro Christie were initiated in The Taimau Lodge No. 331 (Ara No.1 and Taimau No. 331 amalgamated to become The Ara Taimau Lodge No.1 in 2000). We congratulate Jack on his achievement and look forward to his 70th anniversary.
